Ava (who is signed to Atlantic Records) is giving us the bouncy pop tracks that we were so desperately craving in 2018! With her iconic hair, killer fashion and incredible pop songs its only a matter of time before the rest of the world knows about her too!
Her latest release 'Sweet But Psycho' is a fantastic pop track that builds into the catchiest chorus we've heard in a long time. With lyrics such as; "grab a cop gun kinda crazy, she's poison but tasty, and people say run don't walk away" we get serious 2008 Lady Gaga vibes...we love!
And we haven't even got onto the music video! Ava chases her boyfriend round her house with an axe while wearing a wedding dress...yep you read that right. You have to check it out below!
She's also taken Aqua's classic 'Barbie Girl' and put an amazing feminist twist changing to title to 'Not Your Babie Girl". The entire song is a bop but we particularly love the chorus; "Not your barbie girl, I'm living in my own world, I ain't plastic, call me classic, you can't touch me there, you can't touch my body, unless i say so, ain't your barbie oh no".
